Creating recipes is very important to ensure that all of your products are being updated at a scheduled day and time. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to create:
First, on the left hand side of the screen select “Recipes”.
Once selected, it will bring you to this page:
Click “Create New”. Here is where you will start to create the recipe:
Your first action is going to be to select the “Schedule” App: (See below)
Once selected, it will allow you to choose days, frequency, and time of the action. Just like the picture below.
For this example, I chose: Everyday for an hour from 7am-8am, this action will take place. Select continue.
From here, select your data feed. I am using Europa for this example. So, I am selecting Europa (Katie Jacobs) as the app, and then “download new inventory” as the action.
It will then look like this:
Once that is created and saved, it will bring you to this page: (See below)
From here, you’re going to go ahead and click “Create New” once again.
This time the first App will again be Europa (Katie Jacobs), along with the action being “download new inventory”. As for the second action, you will select your Shopify store (katies-supplements-and-stuff) as the App and UPLOAD Inventory as the action. It will look like this:
Once you save this, your screen will look similar to this:
In this example, the recipes will become enabled at 7:00am. So, everyday from 7am-8am, inventory will be downloaded and then pushed to Shopify’s storefront.
Note : To manually have this upload, click on App Integrations -> Your Shopify store -> select sync inventory in the upper right hand side of the screen. This will manually upload and enable.
